Photo Challenge: One Shot, Two Ways

This is for last week’s challenge, which ended today as there is a new challenge.

But…you know, better late then never

It is supposed to be one shot taken at two different directions.  One horizontal and one vertical.

This challenge is two force photographers to think before they shoot.

Back when I used film, you know a gazillion years ago.  My nieces say “film? what is film?” I would have to think a lot about composition.  Wasted film is wasted money.   And wasted time in the dark room.

Now of course I can take a million pictures then pick and choose between the ones I like at a later time.  Of course the down side is less thinking about the shot ahead of time.

I knew I wanted to shoot this building, I just kept not having enough time in the day.  So it took me a little long.

Which one is better?  That would depend on what you want the image to represent…

Weekly Photo Challenge: Foreshadow

The topic of last week’s photography challenge is foreshadowimage

When your little guy’s normal temperature is 97.6 a reading of 100.3 is not good.

I foresee a long night ahead for this Mama and her ten-month old boy.

Menu Plan Monday Aug 5

I ended up taking Monday off due to childcare conflicts.  Which means I have to work on Wed. and that means I have to work four days in a row! yuck.

But that also caused me to forget that Monday was coming and I needed to plan some meals…

Oh well. Better late then never.

We spent the last 3 days pool side at Bamma’s house.
