Oh my, tomorrow is October! These months are just flying by.
I don’t have a new food picture this week, but Ian and I participated in The Teddy Bear Parade this past weekend.
The Teddy Bear Parade is a small local parade we have has run through our historic down town for the past 30 years. Mostly consisting of schools and local businesses. Everyone walking in the parade has Teddy Bears, and the cars are all decorated with Teddy Bears.
He was such a little trooper. He was getting over a cold, and it was wet and cold and raining off and on. But he was determined to be a part of the parade.
This week’s plan is on a budget, so there will be some creativity with the things currently in our pantry. Both the taquitos and the pizza will be made with a roasted chicken from our local grocery store because I have a coupon for a free one!
Menu Plan 09/30-10/6
Mon: Baked Creamy Taquitos (modified recipe)
Tue: Meatloaf and mashed potatoes
Thr: Parmesan Crusted Grilled Cheese and Tomato soup
Sat: Kitchen is Closed
Sun: Left open cause we might have plans with family…
Happy Cooking

It is Rona! I remember participating in it when I was little too. When you are that age you think you are a major celebrity when you get to be in a parade! Even if it is just for a small town 🙂
