Daily Thanks Day 3

Today I am thankful for my Keurig Platinum Brewer.

I love my coffee, I always have.  Typically I brew a pot of coffee daily, which my husband and I consume in its entirety.  While pregnant I couldn’t drink coffee on a regular basis, and this pregnancy I really missed it.  I have really been enjoying my coffee since my son was born.

I have been a member of a website called House Party.  It is a company that helps promote products through the public.  They send you items to help you have a party to promote a specific product.  Recently I was picked to host a party to promote the Keurig Platinum Brewer.

They sent me a brewer and a variety of coffee and tea to sample with my guests.  The party was a success and my guests received rebates to purchase their own brewers.

I have since set up my brewer in my home and use it on a daily basis.  We have packed up our old coffee pot and put it in the attic.  I purchased a My K-Cup which allows me to brew coffee with a reusable system.

Last night my infant had some stomach problems and I didn’t get much sleep.  So this morning I was very thankful for the quick cup of fresh coffee I got from my Keurig brewer in about a minute.

I was in no way asked to write or compensated for this post by either Keurig or House Party.  The opinions are all my own.

Daily Thanks Day 2

Today I am thankful for nap time.

nap time is the best time

With a two and a half-year old and a six-week old baby there is not a lot of time in my day to sit down.  Nap time for my toddler allows me to relax on the couch, sometimes watching the shows I have recorded or sometimes closing my eyes.  Mostly nap time allows me alone time with my infant.  Time when I can relax and hold him without having to feed, change or burp him.

Today my toddler slept for about 2 and a half hours allowing me to watch a couple shows holding my baby.  I didn’t have any responsibility other than holding him, it was wonderful.

Daily Thanks Day 1

As it is obvious to anyone who has looked at a calendar, today is the beginning of November.  The holiday of the month is of course Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving being a holiday to recall what we are thankful for in our lives, it is often common to recognize and give daily thanks.  Now we are able to broadcast these declarations via social media networks like blogs, Facebook, Twitter and the like.   I too would like to share the things in my life that I am thankful for on this blog.

Nov. 1

Today I am thankful for being able to spend Halloween with my boys, my mom, my husband, my sister and her family.  With that I am also thankful for the break in the rain that allowed us to trick-or-treat without rain gear on.
