I haven’t participated in the weekly photo challenge in a while.  Mostly because I just couldn’t get the picture taken in time.  I would have an idea for the topic, but execution was just not in the game plan.

I was able to get a couple of shots in.  This week’s challenge topic is Layers.

Originally this picture was supposed to have another layer.  Birds.  I am pretty sure the worms were out because the ground was covered in birds.  Even though I was inside using a zoom lens to try not to disturb them, they got spooked and flew away.
